Postponed March settlement will come in June  

– international settlement is postponed 

In June, payments will be made from video on demand services and post-payments for concerts in 2022-24 – areas that were postponed in the March payment due to the transition to a new settlement system. Other areas will be paid as normal. There is one exception, however: We are now moving international settlement to a new system, and therefore international payments will also be postponed to avoid errors. Members who want an advance on deferred international settlement are asked to contact TONO.

TONO is in the midst of a major transition to a new billing system this spring and summer. In such a process, there is a risk that errors may occur. Therefore, in the March billing, we chose to postpone payments from music streaming, video on demand services and post-billing of concerts for the years 2022-24.

Music streaming was paid out at the beginning of May, and we can now confirm that the postponed March payment for video on demand and the post-payment for concerts will come in June, specifically in week 25.  

International settlement for June postponed 

The next step in the transition to the new system is international settlements. Here too, we must ensure that we avoid errors and do not pay out money until we are absolutely sure that everything has been quality checked and is ready. 

Therefore, we are postponing the payment from the international settlement that normally comes in June. The international payment for June will be made as soon as we are confident that we can settle correctly, and during the second half of this year.

Members who wish to discuss the possibility of an advance on deferred foreign settlement are asked to contact TONO's membership department about this at member@tono.no. 

We know that this may be experienced as unfortunate, but this is necessary to ensure that everyone receives the correct payment from abroad. 
 

Other areas will be paid as normal in June. 

All other areas will be paid as normal in June. This includes music streaming, radio and TV, cinema, NCB (including physical formats and use of music in films and TV series), and the regular June settlement for video on demand.

More information will be provided in the settlement letter that will be sent with the payment in week 25.
