There are a wide variety of songwriting competitions internationally. For some, these can be a stepping stone to further development. The "USA Songwriting Competition" is now open for registration.
/ 11/03/2013 / codexTONO has received an invitation to our members to participate in the songwriting competition "USA Songwriting Competition". This is not the only one of its kind, but it is relevant now, so if you have some time to spare and think it is worth spending the 35 US dollars it costs to register, then you have the opportunity. The organizers are offering a grand prize of 50,000 USD, as well as music equipment from sponsors such as Sony, Audio-Technica, iZotope and Propellerheads, to name a few.
The judging panel consists of people from the largest music publishers and record labels. Winning songs in 15 categories will be selected, which will be played on the program "Acoustic Café" that is broadcast throughout the United States, as well as on Sirius XM Satellite Radio. And since TONO has reciprocal agreements with our American sister societies ASCAP and BMI, you will also receive TONO remuneration for any songs played here. In competitions from previous years, there have been winners from France, Australia, Japan, Singapore, Canada, the United Kingdom, Germany and so on in addition to the United States.
