Ole Nilssen and Bjørn Kåre Odde are two of the country's most promising folk musicians. The two are among the few young professionals who focus on traditional old-fashioned dance.

At the same time, they commission modern folk music works from classical composers. In 2018, they released Edge with modern folk music compositions by Henning Sommero and Wolfgang Plagge, among others. They are currently waiting for new music by Jorun Marie Kvernberg.

– Grieg created classical masterpieces from folk tunes. We do the opposite.

In 2018, Ole was named Young Folk Musician of the Year. In 2019, Bjørn Kåre received the prestigious award Folk Musician of the Year. The film follows the duo during the Folkelarm 2019 festival, in the hours leading up to the awards ceremony.
