TONO's new board

TONO held its first annual meeting on June 6 under the new arrangement, where all TONO voting shareholders have the right to participate. The arrangement replaces an 80-year tradition of a representative board. The meeting was chaired by Morten Halle.

61 cooperative members present elected the following new board for the next two years:

TONO's new chairman is Åse Hedstrøm from the Norwegian Composers' Association, and Leif Dramstad from the Norwegian Music Publishers' Association was elected as deputy chairman of the board. We are thus marking the new era with TONO's first female chairman. Hedstrøm herself concluded the historic annual meeting by thanking the shareholders for their trust and attendance.
