TONO's 2022 annual meeting will be held today

TONO first announced the annual meeting on February 15, and then with an invitation by email on May 25 and with a reminder on June 7. All annual meeting documents are available for download for annual meeting participants on TONO's annual meeting portal.

In order to facilitate the practical implementation of the annual meeting, you will help the administration by pre-registering if you wish to participate. You will find information about this in the email invitation you have been sent. Also remember that regardless of whether you will participate physically or digitally, you will need a mobile phone and/or PC to be able to put yourself on the voting list, vote in elections and so on.

This year's election
The following elections will be held this year:

• Four board members (2 years) and four deputy members (2 years), cf. Sections 28, 30 and 31 and the Cooperatives Act Section 69 (1), point 5.
• Chairman (1 year) and deputy chairman (1 year), cf. §§ 30 (5) and 31 (4)
• Three members (2 years) with personal deputies (2 years), as well as one member (1 year) to TONO's scholarship committee, cf. § 58 (2) b

Amendments to the articles of association and other provisions
Requirements in the Collective Management Act mean that the annual meeting shall decide on general principles for the distribution of remuneration to the rights holders, TONO's investment strategy and general principles for deductions in rights income, including cultural funds. Furthermore, the annual meeting shall also consider a recommendation from TONO's board of directors regarding amendments to the articles of association with a view to adjustments to the Collective Management Act, as well as earmarking of the profit from the sale of Harmoni AS (TONO's old premises at Tøyenbekken 21).
