TONO's annual meeting will be held on Tuesday, June 8th at 16 pm at Sentralen. If you are a TONO shareholder and wish to stand for election, or have suggestions for other candidates, it would be helpful if this was reported to TONO by Friday, February 26th at 12 pm.

TONO is a cooperative owned and managed by its members. Of TONO's membership of approximately 36,000 members, 1921 have achieved member status in line with the requirements for membership in TONO's articles of association §9. Members have the opportunity to attend TONO's annual meeting and be elected to positions of trust in TONO's board og other governing bodiesAn overview of all TONO's cooperative members is available at My TONO.

Proposals for candidates

If you are a shareholder in the cooperative TONO SA and have suggestions for candidates that you would like to include, please contact one of the committee members or Helene Rognøy, tel. 22 05 72 00 or by sending an e-mail to helene.rognoy (a) tono.no, by Friday, February 26th at 12 noon.  There is also the opportunity to stand for election by bench proposal at the annual meeting.

TONO's election committee consists of Lars Martin Myhre (NOPA), Kristin Andersen (MF), Dag Erik Knedal Andersen (independent) and Klaus Sandvik (NKF).

The following positions of trust are up for election in 2021:

• Four board members (2 years) and four deputy members (2 years), cf. Sections 28, 30 and 31 and the Cooperatives Act Section 69 (1), point 5.
• Chairman (1 year) and deputy chairman (1 year), cf. §§ 30 (5) and 31 (4)
• Five members (2 years) with personal deputies (2 years) to TONO's control committee, cf. § 53 (1), cf. (2)
• Four members (2 years) with personal deputies (2 years) to TONO's scholarship committee, cf. § 58 (2) b
• Four members (2 years) with personal deputies to TONO's election committee, cf. § 24 (1)

The employee representatives on TONO's board are elected separately according to the rules in The Representation Regulations. The names of these will be announced in connection with the annual meeting. The employee representatives, who are all up for election this year, are Ida Otterstad, Håvard Offer-Ohlsen and Jonas Risting, with the deputies Lina Marie Langøien, Ingrid Elise Østgård, Herman Foss, Øystein Haugland and Hege Dreyer Harstad.
