Introductory course for those who make music
Do you make music? As a TONO member, you earn money every time your songs are streamed, played on the radio or performed in concert. On Tuesday, November 26, we will be hosting a webinar where we will answer all your TONO questions.
/ 01/11/2024 / Kristian DugstadTONO manages the economic copyrights in the music of our 42,000 members. Through our international network, we also represent several million music creators from the rest of the world here in Norway.
TONO is a non-profit cooperative owned and managed by its members, which has worked for songwriters' income and rights for more than 90 years.
When you become a member of TONO, you give us the job of granting permission for the use of your music. This means that we negotiate and license the performance of your works, whether it is at concerts, on the radio, on TV, on the Internet, at the hairdresser's and anywhere else where music is used in public.
And last but not least: We make sure you get paid TONO royalties when your music is used!
Whether you have just become a member, have been a member for a long time, or are considering becoming a member, you may want to get to know the TONO organization better. We would be happy to help you with this!
