After a long and extensive project, TONO will be implementing a new works registry system in October. The system will help ensure the quality of TONO's services in the years ahead, but during the implementation phase, the members' web registration tool "My TONO" will have reduced functionality for a period of time.

The system will help ensure the quality of TONO's services in the years ahead, but during the implementation phase, the members' web registration tool "My TONO" will have reduced functionality for a period of time.
The transition to a new system means that TONO members cannot register new works or concert performances in the web service "My TONO" during the period from September 16 to mid-October.
At the same time, you will not be able to see new information about your works and concert performances registered in the period from August 28th until after the new system is implemented. As a result, TONO is postponing the deadline for reporting concerts from the first half of 2015 from October 1st to November 1st.
Back office system
TONO is adopting the new works register system because it is larger and more robust than the existing system. It enables TONO to meet the challenges of the future in a good way. It is a so-called “back office” system, which means that it is an internal system within TONO. In other words, members do not need to learn how to use a new web registration tool. “My TONO” (login via tono.no) will be continued.
International cooperation
TONO is making the transition to the new system together with our Nordic sister societies KODA (Denmark) and Teosto (Finland). In doing so, we join forces with sister societies PRS for Music (UK), GEMA (Germany), Buma/Stemra (Netherlands) and STIM (Sweden), who have already implemented the system. Our collaboration with these companies only involves the technical aspects, and does not mean that the companies will unify their repertoires.
TONO will provide information on our website and via newsletter to members when the system is fully implemented, and "My TONO" can again be used as normal. TONO apologizes for any inconvenience the implementation of the new system may cause to our members.
