TONO Talent at By:Song

The By:Songs songwriting camp starts today. Here are the winners of the competition to participate.

On August 16, TONO announced a competition where songwriters could win a place at the renowned songwriting camp By:Songs. TONO is a long-time partner of the camp.

Participants at this year's camp, which starts today, Monday 11.09, include the songwriters behind some of the world's biggest hits, such as Bonnie McKee, Neil Ormandy, Liza Owen, Paul Phamous, Chloe Angelides and Derrick Milano. Past talents include Sarah Hudson, Lindy Robbins, Evan Bogart, Axident, Giorgio Tuinfort, Jenson Vaughan, Tayla Parx, Autumn Rowe, Neil Ormandy, Gez O'Connell, jHart, Lukas Graham and Caroline Ailin.

We can now announce that the winners of the competition and thus this year's TONO Talent are Jakob Grønset and Margrethe Frich.

Briefly about the winners:

Jakob Grønset aka Jay Sorrow
Jakob Grønset is a 21 year old songwriter from Oslo. In addition to making hits with the group FERDY, he spends a lot of time writing music for other up and coming artists.

Margrethe Frich
Margrethe Frich is a 20 year old songwriter and artist from Oslo. She has been attending LIMPI for the past year, and is now working as a songwriter in Oslo. She has co-written Alessandra's "Pretty Devil", and has several exciting projects coming up.
