TONO scholarship 2010

In accordance with TONO's new statutes, applications will be processed by one scholarship committee starting this year, regardless of whether the applicant is organized in one of the group associations (NOPA/NKF) or not. TONO's scholarship committee now consists of two members from NOPA, two members from the Norwegian Composers' Association, one member from the Norwegian Music Publishers' Association and one independent representative. The committee has prioritized giving larger scholarships this year, and has set the lowest scholarship amount significantly higher than previously. In addition, there are no fewer than 50 people who receive the highest scholarships of 50.000 or 100.000 kroner. The reason for this is, among other things, that they want to give the scholarship recipients the opportunity and incentive to delve deeper.
