TONO is among the world's most effective management companies that safeguard the rights of composers, lyricists and music publishers for the performance of musical works. We manage copyrights on behalf of foreign rights holders as well as our own members.

Although we have developed efficient systems over a long period of time, there is a constant need to build new services and modernize core systems. We will undergo a major digital transformation in the years ahead. To do this, we intend to utilize newer technology, modern ways of organizing and using data, and further develop our use of machine learning and AI. The goal is to increase the speed and accuracy of distribution to our rights holders and provide a modern user experience for customers, members, publishers, and other partners.

Desired qualifications, experience and characteristics: 
· Relevant college/university education or relevant experience
· You have good oral and written communication skills in Norwegian and English
· You are curious about new technology where knowledge updating is a continuous process
· You enjoy working independently and efficiently, but also see that results are created together
· You transform user stories into functional code, writing efficient and readable code
· You apply professional methods, such as continuous integration and deployment, and actively contribute to high-quality software deliveries

Relevant tools and technologies
· PHP, Python, Javascript/Typescript, Java
· React, html/CSS
· RESTful APIs and microservices architecture
· Version Control (git), Jira
· Database technology in general – SQL (MSSQL, DB/2 and others) & NoSQL (MongoDB, DynamoDB)
· Use of Elasticsearch, Solr, Grafana, Lucene, Splunk for searching, analysis and visualization
· Container technology such as LXC, Docker/Podman and Kubernetes
· Private or public cloud such as OpenShift , Nutanix, AWS, Azure, Google
· Open source

About TONO

TONO is owned and managed by authors (composers and lyricists) and music publishers, and manages on their behalf the economic copyrights in the music they have created. TONO grants permission for the use of protected music, for example on radio, TV, the internet, concerts and cinemas for a fee, and transfers its financial results each year to the rights holders in music that has been played publicly. TONO has 34,000 members, but also works for approximately three million authors and music publishers from around the world. TONO's social role is twofold, on the one hand collecting and simplifying the licensing of protected music and on the other hand providing music creators with an economic basis for creating new musical works. TONO has 60 employees, and in 2019 had a turnover of kr 771 millions.
