TONO is in a major modernization and digitalization process where technology and insight are taking a more central role in the organization. The goal for the coming years is to carry out a digital transformation where we strengthen our technological maturity, and actively use technology and data to deliver user-friendly services for our members and customers.

For a newly created position, we are now looking for a skilled CTO who will play a central role in identifying and exploiting the opportunities that technology offers. IT is an important focus area for us, and we have both the will to change and the investment ability to succeed! As our new CTO, you will have great freedom to shape the role yourself. You will have overall responsibility for developing and implementing an IT strategy, as well as establishing and operationalizing technology-driven processes to support business and product development.

As CTO, you are responsible for identifying and establishing collaboration with strategic IT partners, as well as identifying and prioritizing technology and data-driven initiatives that support our goals. It is important that you communicate effectively and well with all parts of the organization, and that you are able to create consensus and commitment for change.

Responsibilities:

• Lead the department, and ensure secure and stable availability of the business's needs for IT solutions, including common office systems and equipment, as well as professional systems.
• Develop and implement a comprehensive IT strategy in line with the business's overall goals and ambitions
• Establish and operationalize data-driven processes to support decision-making across the organization
• Identify and establish collaboration with strategic IT partners
• Monitor and evaluate new technology, as well as be a driving force for better utilization of technology in both core processes and new services/products
• Establish IT collaboration across internal resources and external vendors
• Implement measures to improve internal competence, especially in technology procurement and consulting

 

We are looking for you as:

• Has a higher education in IT. Relevant experience can compensate for lack of education
• Have experience with IT management
• Possesses a solid understanding of architecture and business, as well as relevant technologies, platforms and development trends
• Ability to translate business challenges and needs into technical solutions
• Has experience in implementing and leading data-driven decision-making processes
• Have experience with IT procurement, preferably also successful outsourcing processes
• Have good communication skills and the ability to get people on board
