Gabrielle writes hits on the tram.
"Ring Meg". "Regn fra blå himmel". And "5 fine frøkner" this summer. If you've been scanning the FM band for the last 3 years, you've heard Gabrielle Leithaug. Her pop compositions have sold tenfold platinum and have made broadband lines all over the country hot for the last three or four years. Leithaug is much more than an artist and a golden voice. She is a skilled pop composer. The fact that she writes in Norwegian contributes to her uniqueness. She tells Askil Holm in the interview that she wrote her first song, Garbageman, when she was 11/12 years old, and that she uses public transport. And then she creates songs:
– I don't know why, but it's very often where things come to me. Thoughts... things that trigger me, she says.
