Copyright is in many ways more important than ever for music creators. It gives you, as a music writer, the right to own your own music and, not least, the opportunity to earn an income from your work. To the uninitiated, copyright may sound impenetrable and complicated, which is why lawyer Sondre Graasvoll and economist Herman Foss will give you knowledge about the basics in this seminar. Come and get smarter!

TONO has players such as Spotify, Wimp, Google and Netflix on its customer list, and has licensed streaming services since 1996. At Bylarm, TONO brings together a panel of some of the most central players in the Norwegian music industry for a debate about the streaming economy. The debate will be led by Knut Schreiner, songwriter and performer in bands such as Turboneger and Kåre & the Cavemen, music producer, regular music columnist in Morgenbladet, representative on the Nordgård committee, master's student and Norway's "rock professor". Participants: Marte Thorsby (IFPI), Kjartan Slette (WiMP), Erik Brataas (Phonofile), Ine Hoem (songwriter/artist).
