There will be both a TONO Café and not least a TONO Sessions interview where Askil Holm is back as an interviewer – and this time it is I Was a King who will reveal his songwriting secrets.
TONO has so far been an active supporter of Trondheim Calling, by:Larm in Oslo and Vill Vill Vest in Bergen. Now the fourth sponsorship of the year is on the way, Sørveiv in Kristiansand.
Starting in 2010, Sørveiv is now in its seventh year. Around 40 new and promising artists will perform. The concerts will take place on 5-7 different stages in the center of Kristiansand. Sørveiv also has a conference section, like the other festivals mentioned.
TONO Café Friday and Saturday
Whether you are at Sørveiv as a participant or artist – or if you are a TONO member living in the area, we hope to see you. We are organizing TONO Café at Frk. Larsen Authentic BBQ in Markensgate 5 on Friday and Saturday from 11 am to 15 pm. It will be informal and pleasant, and we will also offer good music from DJ Federici on Friday and DJ Inti on Saturday.

TONO Session
TONO Sessions is TONO's interview series with songwriting as the theme. Here, TONO members interview other members about the subject. The idea for the series was conceived jointly by TONO and Askil Holm. Holm was also responsible for all the interviews for the first couple of years, before Jonas Skybakmoen, Frida Ånnevik, Trond Wiger and dePresno have stopped by as interviewers. Now Holm is back in the role of interviewer, and we expect both an entertaining and educational session with Frode Strømstad and Anne Lise Frøkedal from I Was A King at 6:30 PM. This also takes place at Frk Larsen Authentic BBQ.
And as mentioned above, if you come by a little earlier, we'll be serving chili con carne from 17 p.m.
