The investment company Lightspeed has invested 1,3 billion kroner in the AI service Suno, which they claim can produce “full length songs worthy of Top 40 radio”, without the “creator” having to do anything other than enter a text about what kind of song they want to make. At the same time, the world’s largest record companies – Universal Music Group, Sony Music Entertainment and Warner Music Group – have filed a lawsuit against Suno and Udio, demanding billions for extensive copyright infringement. The EU has adopted “The AI Act”, and the Norwegian Copyright Act is to be amended to regulate the challenges of artificial intelligence. What does all this mean for the future of human songwriters and musicians?

TONO PREVIEW

Location: Bar Vulkan
Time: 15:45 – 18:00

TONO invites you to what we hope will be by:Larm's best pre-show!

We offer free food and drinks (as long as there is enough), a great atmosphere and an exclusive mini-concert with one of Norway's "hottest acts" at the moment, Rakkere.

The pre-show starts right after the last seminar at 3:45 PM, so you can go straight to Bar Vulkan and catch the pre-show before you go out on the night of the concert. The pre-show is also a great opportunity to mingle with industry professionals.

You are most welcome, and we look forward to seeing you!

About Rakkere:

It is no coincidence that Rakkere is on everyone's lips these days, as they are behind one of the biggest hits of the summer, the song "24/7". Despite their young age, Rakkere has already managed to release a number of songs that are both reflective and innovative. The guys are their own producers and have managed to create a unique and innovative expression.
