During by:Larm 2020, TONO hosts the TONO Lounge in the foyer of Dansens Hus.
All by:Larm delegates are welcome to use the area. You can drop by whether you want to have a chat, arrange a meeting, take a break or bring a shopping bag and earplugs.
On Friday the 28th we will be hosting our live podcast and mini-concert with Signe Marie Rustad in the lounge. There will also be other events here on Thursday and Friday.

Torgny Amdam meets songwriter and Americana artist Signe Marie Rustad in this live recording of TONO's podcast Lage Musikk.
The event will take place on Friday, February 28th in the TONO Lounge in Dansens Hus. Light refreshments will be served from 15:30 PM. The podcast will begin at 16:00 PM.
Norwegian-American Rustad is one of the artists at the forefront of the modern wave of Norwegian Americana. In November 2019, she released her third album When Words Flew Freely to rave reviews. Several reviewers even described it as one of the highlights of the music year.
The podcast ends with a mini-concert with Signe Marie Rustad.

Film composers are increasingly being forced into "buy out" agreements when they create music for the major American film streaming services' own productions. This involves both a breach of ordinary copyright rules and, in practice, means a dramatic drop in income for the music creators.
This by:Larm panel will take place on Friday 28/02 in the Matsal in Mathallen from 11:00-11:45 and will be presented by TONO.
Now TONO and the international umbrella organization CISAC are working to find out how to respond to this threat. But how are Norwegian composers affected by this? And what can be done? TONO is bringing together a panel of industry experts to find possible solutions to the problem.
