Writing music and lyrics for music is about both creating something, but also about money. TONO's member seminar on June 9th will be about both.

TONO members have now received an invitation via email to a members' seminar on June 9th at Victoria, the National Jazz Scene in Oslo.
– TONO is owned and managed by members, and as an organization we want to be a close and good partner with our members – regardless of whether you have music and songwriting as your main career path, or if you have it as a hobby. We believe that many people can benefit from understanding more about how TONO works, how to make money from your music and how to best take care of the money you earn. We hope that the membership seminar will help with this, and we hope that many people will come and join us this evening, says TONO's communications manager, Willy Martinsen.
The program will feature TONO CEO Cato Strøm, who will provide an update on TONO's current status, board chairman Bendik Hofseth will talk about future licensing, and TONO membership manager Jan Espen Storo will give an overall introduction to TONO and how you can make money from your works.
But also others than those who work directly in TONO will take the stage. Civil economist and presenter of Luksusfellen on TV3, Hallgeir Kvadsheim, will give you Norway's best money advice. He knows a lot about what you should do – and not do – with your TONO remuneration.
After a great effort from Askil Holm as the "programme host" in the video interview series TONO Sessions, Frida Ånnevik is now taking over. We will cover the breadth of the TONO members in this series, and now the time has finally come to talk about rock'n'roll, riff making and maybe even a little jazz and art music. Frida will interview Ronni Le Tekrø himself. We think this will be both educational and very fun.
