TONO is a Spellemann partner

TONO is proud to be a partner and supporter of the Spellemannsprisen again this year. The award ceremony will be held in the beautiful Stavanger Concert Hall just before the nation takes Easter, on March 23. The program will be broadcast live on NRK 1, so that all of Norway can take part in the celebration of Norwegian musicians and creators. The Spellemannsprisen has been held annually since 1973. The award is important for the Norwegian music industry, with the goal of honoring, inspiring and motivating music creators and to strengthen unity in the music community across genres. For TONO, Spellemann is an opportunity to further strengthen our awareness among the population. TONO is a cooperative consisting of 23,000 creative people, and knowledge and understanding of TONO's activities is very important for us to be able to perform our role in the best possible way. As part of our sponsorship, a TONO poster will be shown at the beginning and end of the two parts of the broadcast, we are profiled in various materials produced on the occasion and on digital platforms. The most important contribution to the Spellemannsprisen for TONO is, however, that we have helped develop two of the categories: Lyricist of the Year and Composer of the Year.  

For us at TONO, it is very important to highlight the enormous cultural value that composers, songwriters, music lyricists and music publishers add to Norwegian society. These two awards are a contribution to that work. We wish all nominees good luck!
