TONO has entered into a speaking partnership with the interest organization BandOrg to increase knowledge about TONO and copyright among BandOrg's members.
/ 15/05/2017 / codexBandOrg is a nationwide interest organization for people who play in bands, and with 6000 members divided into more than 1300 member bands, it is also Norway's largest of its kind. All lectures have not yet been determined, but for now two specific lectures are planned in Bodø on May 23 and Molde on June 8. Courses will also be held in Ålesund and Stavanger, hopefully before the summer holidays. It is not excluded that there will also be more lectures around the country throughout the year. The lectures will address copyright and the benefits you get as a songwriter if you join TONO.
– Important for TONO
The collaboration with BandOrg came about after meetings with BandOrg during by:Larm and is a concrete outcome of a strategy in TONO that is about strengthening the relationship and recruitment work in the organization.
– The collaboration with BandOrg is both exciting and important for us at TONO. Young songwriters in particular may not know exactly what TONO does, and may not know that as TONO members they can earn good money that they would otherwise have missed out on. Any opportunity to explain the benefits of TONO membership is valuable to us, says TONO Membership Manager, Jan Espen Storo.
