In TONO's first quarterly settlement of 2018, a total of NOK 40 million will be settled this week to TONO members and NOK 34,1 million to licensees in other countries.
/ 15/03/2018 / Willy MartinsenTONO's settlement includes performances on Norwegian radio and TV in the 3rd quarter of 2017, Netflix for the 2nd quarter of 2017, Google Play VoD for the 1st and 2nd quarters of 2017, Altibox for 2014 and 2015, private copying for 2016, performances of TONO repertoire abroad (radio, TV, concerts, streaming services outside the Nordic countries, etc., as well as various post-payments, direct payments and adjustments.
For the areas mentioned above, TONO settles in total kr 66,9 million. Of this, kr 31,4 million to members of TONO, kr 34,1 million goes to rights holders abroad, and kr 1,4 million is reserved for unidentified rights holders/musical works, unannounced musical works, non-members and disputed rights.
In addition, it is settled kr 8,6 million to TONO members from Nordic settlement in the online area. The online settlement includes Spotify for August 2017 through October 2017, iTunes for the 2nd and 3rd quarters of 2017 and YouTube for the 3rd quarter of 2017.
