This week, TONO will pay out a total of NOK 126,2 million to composers, lyricists and their music publishers at home and abroad. Of this sum, NOK 48,6 million will be paid out to TONO members.

This week is the time for the second ordinary quarterly settlement of the year. Overall, for all areas, NOK 126,2 million will be settled, of which NOK 48,6 million goes to TONO members and NOK 73,8 million to members of TONO's sister societies in other countries. NOK 3,8 million is reserved for currently unidentified rights holders and musical works, unreported musical works, non-members, and disputed rights.
In the general TONO settlement, remuneration is settled to TONO members and to members of our sister societies in other countries. This time, it is settled for the following areas:
A total of NOK 113,4 million has been settled from these areas, which is distributed as follows: NOK 35,8 million to members of TONO, NOK 73,8 million to rights holders abroad, while NOK 3,8 million is reserved for currently unidentified rights holders and musical works, unannounced musical works, non-members and disputed rights. TONO members can see their individual settlements from these areas by logging in to My TONO.
The settlements from TONO's licensing of streaming services in the Nordic area is this time a total of 7,7 million kroner. TONO members can see their settlements from these areas by logging in to My TONO, and then selecting the menu option NCB/Online. This time, it is settled for the following services and for the following periods:
The NCB settlement also shows income from the licensing of physical releases and audiovisual synchronization. A total of NOK 5,1 million is settled to TONO members for this area in this settlement.
Members who have had activity on their TONO membership account have today received a settlement letter to the email address the members have provided to TONO.
On My TONO (web services) TONO members can view their balance and all movements in their member account at any time. Here you can also search for settlement data for individual works across periods and categories with details about the individual performances.
