TONO members under the age of 24 can apply for the NOPA Young Talents grant. Each grant is 20,000 and the application deadline is December 1.
/ 29/11/2021 / Kristian DugstadThe organization NOPA provides grants to young songwriters and lyricists who are working on their own music. The grant scheme is called young talents, and all TONO members under the age of 24 can apply.
Every grant given is on kr 20,000, and there are no requirements for what the money is to be used for, other than that it must be linked to work on your own music.
The application deadline is Wednesday, December 1, 2021, and the application form can be found here. here..

NOPA is one of three group associations that receive Cultural funds from TONO.
According to TONO's statutes §58, up to 10 percent of TONO's income is set aside each year for Cultural funds. The funds are used to finance TONO's scholarship schemes and to promote national music and cultural purposes through TONO's three group associations, NOPA, the Norwegian Composers' Association and the Music Publishers Association.
The cultural funds help finance NOPA's young talent grants.
