You can now apply to the Norwegian Composers' Association for support for all types of documentation that make it possible to perform or experience the work without the composer present. The application deadline for 2011 is September 1.
/ 17/08/2011 / codexFor a number of years, the Norwegian Composers' Association has received grants from the Ministry of Culture to administer the scheme with support for the printing of sheet music. The scheme was revised in 2008, and the criteria were greatly expanded to achieve a scheme adapted to today's diverse reality in the areas of distribution and documentation of works. The support now functions in practice as a grant for all types of documentation that make it possible for the work to be performed or experienced without the composer being present. In addition to support for the printing of sheet music, it is now also possible to apply for support for public publication and digital documentation (for example with video) of time- and place-specific works, installations and performances. The only exceptions in principle are pure sound recording and promotional measures, which are covered by other schemes. Here you will find additional guidelines for printing support:
