NKF can provide financial support for the recording and release of members' music. The support can be given to registered record labels, organizations/ensemble or members of NKF.

The application is decided by NKF's music committee.

The association negotiates on behalf of Norwegian composers about remuneration for the use of members' music in a number of contexts, including lending in libraries, use of music in the media and public, copying of sheet music, etc.
NKF is one of the group associations in TONO.
