No company can succeed without happy employees. It is very important for TONO to have a good corporate culture with good working conditions and development opportunities.

In collaboration with Great Place To Work, which has 30 years of experience in developing workplaces, we have conducted regular employee surveys over the past year and worked purposefully to strengthen TONO's trust and culture. With good results.

TONO is now certified as a Great Place To Work.

– Create the good culture

Through Great Place To Work Trust Index companies can measure trust within the organization, compared to the experiences of millions of employees.

– Employee surveys and good advice from Great Place to Work provided a clear direction for what we needed to do to strengthen our culture. The entire organization has been involved in the work, and together we have managed to create the good culture that was just waiting to be cultivated. We are proud to have received Great Place to Work's stamp of approval that TONO is a truly good place to work, says Karl Vestli.

Companies that achieve an average of at least 70 percent positive responses to the employee survey are certified as a Great Place To Work.

Strong community

Despite the fact that TONO is in a period of demanding projects, restructuring and new tasks for many employees, the development in employee surveys has been striking.

Through targeted measures, TONO has achieved a stronger trust in management, strategy and the direction of the organization. The employees have a strong internal motivation, and 95 percent respond that they feel they contribute to society. 88 percent say that TONO is more than just a job.

– TONO's results bust the myth that developing culture and leadership requires heavy and time-consuming processes. With straightforward and conscious leadership and good tools, major changes can be achieved in a short time, says Tron Kleivane, Partner and Chairman of the Board of Great Place to Work Norway.
