The Spellemannprisen has, in collaboration with TONO, established three author awards.

The authors will be assessed based on works released on CD between 4 December 2007 and 3 December 2008. The releases do not need to be entered for the Spellemannprisen in other categories.
When registering, you must indicate which of the three categories you wish to be considered in. There is no separate registration form, so this must be stated in the attached letter.
Candidates for the awards must be members of TONO.
Three original copies of the album must be sent to TONO, and must be received by . If you wish to be considered for lyricist of the year, three copies of the lyrics must also be submitted.
There is a short registration deadline this year, but from next year there will be normal registration deadlines for Spellemann.

The nominees will be announced together with the other nominees at a press conference on January 6th at 10:00 AM at Hotel Continental.
