Sony has launched the Music Unlimited music service in Norway and 12 other countries.
/ 11/01/2012 / codexThe service offers 12 million tracks. Music Unlimited is a streaming service that does not rely on an application, all you need is a browser. Music Unlimited also comes with the Music Sync service, which allows you to upload your own mp3 files to the cloud.
The subscriptions cost kr 89 and 49 per month.
Sony's agreement on Music Unlimited has been signed with all the Nordic countries, including the NCB (Nordic Copyright Bureau). - This shows that in the online area it is becoming increasingly easier to clear music rights, also for several countries at a time, says Inger Elise Mey, department director for online media at TONO. The EU is very keen to establish regional clearance bodies and with this Nordic hub we show that the Nordics are leading the way in this development.
