The interest organization Musikkforlaggerne has a scholarship scheme earmarked for music publishers, and applications are now open – the deadline is June 1st at 12 noon.

The scholarships are intended to stimulate the Norwegian music publishing community that works for Norwegian authors. The scholarship funds are to be used for the best interests of Norwegian music publishers, and to contribute to the professionalization of the music publishing community.
New guidelines
If you have applied for a grant from Musikkforlaggerne previously, please be aware that there are some new guidelines regarding the grants this year. Therefore, you must read the information on Musikkforlaggerne's website carefully. New this year is that our grants will be awarded twice a year with deadlines of June 1 and December 1. Ad hoc funds will also be awarded in two periods, running from June 1 - December 31 and January 1 - May 31. All registered music publishers can apply for the grants in each category once during each period.
