"Prøysen 2014" wants to contribute to the creation of new art inspired by Alf Prøysen's writing. The grant will form the basis for a project that is intended to be presented during the Prøysen Prize award ceremony in 2015. The project must be independent of genre, and continue Prøysen's legacy. The project can be based on Prøysen's own work, but it can also be inspired by it or be in his spirit. The project must be presented during the 2015 award ceremony in the form of a performance or performance.

Project application with project description and budget must be submitted by Prøysen 2014. The scholarship will be presented to the recipient on January 19 at Det Norske Teatret.

Applications and questions about the scholarship should be sent electronically to Prøysen 2014 at the Head of Culture in Ringsaker Municipality, Asle Berteig:

The Prøysen Year, Prøysen 2014, begins with the presentation of the Prøysen Prizes at Det Norske Teatret. The prizes consist of the Prøysen Prize, the Teskjekjerring Prize and the Prøysen Honorary Prize.

Alf Prøysen's centenary is marked with the opening of the new Prøysen House at Prøysenstua, at Rudshøgda in Ringsaker. This also marks the opening of the Prøysen Festival.

The anniversary year ends with a festive performance at the Norwegian Theatre.

In addition to these main events, there will be a large number of national, regional and local events organized by the country's various professional cultural institutions and amateur cultural institutions.
