Apply for support from the Norwegian Cultural Fund

While the Ministry of Culture is working to find solutions to the loss of TONO remuneration, you as a TONO member should consider applying for the schemes under the Norwegian Culture Fund. Three of the schemes have an application deadline of December 2.

Culture Minister Abid Q. Raja is wearing a press conference og on the Storting's website over the past seven days, has clearly expressed that it is working to find solutions that can compensate for the loss of TONO remuneration that Norwegian authors and music publishers have suffered as a result of the infection control measures related to the Covid-19 pandemic. However, it is also worth noting that there are schemes to apply for, which can mean a lot to TONO members who need special support to be able to practice their profession as music creators now in difficult times.

Norwegian Cultural Foundation, which is managed by the Arts Council of Norway, was supplemented by additional funds to provide support to Norwegian creators as an addition to the incentive scheme.
