End of paper settlement documents

From September 2012, settlement vouchers will no longer be sent out on paper. Information and an overview of the settlement can be found on TONO's web services. This applies to both TONO and NCB settlements.

Most members use TONO's web services to check their settlement and download settlement vouchers. In recent years, only a few members have received the vouchers in the mail. We believe the time is now ripe to move to a permanent practice where vouchers will no longer be sent out on paper. Members who have a settlement receive a notification by email that they have received remuneration, and a link to the web services where they can log in and see what they have been paid. It has long been the case that only those who have specifically requested to receive settlement vouchers on paper have received settlement vouchers in the mail. From September, all members must log in to the web services to get an overview of what has been settled and how much has been paid.

This is of course a cost-saving measure in terms of postage and paper costs, but it also leads to efficiency improvements in the organization and has environmental benefits. TONO also follows a trend where society is becoming more and more digital and paperless.

If you are not a user of TONO's web services, you can easily register as a user on TONO's website. First click on TONO's web services in the menu, and then on "Register new user". Here you must enter your social security number and membership number.

The service requires a valid email address. Questions about the web services can be directed to TONO's member service by email, or by calling 22057280.
