The desk concerts

The desk concerts are music for work, literally. In the middle of the monotonous silence of the office landscape, the musicians clear a small room, plug in and play on the desk, among staplers, paper clips and papers that should have been shredded last year. The concerts take on a completely different form than we are used to. It is unplugged, yes, but it is also hyper-intimate, almost on the lap of the office worker. The musicians have to adapt to the office while the office becomes a concert arena and those who work there, those who own the office, become spectators, the audience in their own workplace. Throughout the year you will meet Norwegian artists we love, . Genre is unimportant. The important thing is that you are visited by artists who dare to go beyond their usual framework, who adapt to the framework they are given, who can communicate anywhere, even in an office. The desk concerts are produced by and Norwegian Music Information, with support from the Norwegian Association of Composers and Lyricists.

The first desk concert presents , from an office in Oslo City Center. The concert will be broadcast live on the program Tuesday 8.2 at 3:30 PM (program start at 2:00 PM). The concert will be filmed and shown on NRK Nett TV. Upcoming artists and offices will be announced continuously.
