It is still an important meeting place for the international music industry, although participation has declined somewhat in recent years. TONO was represented by two people this year. The conference is a useful arena for promoting the interests of our members. The Nordic pavilion, where Norway was clearly represented, was well attended. This year too, the conference contained a wide range of seminars. Key players from record companies, music publishers, copyright organizations, EU leaders and other politicians, distributors and so on participated. Many of these should be of great interest to both TONO members and others with an interest in the music industry.
