On March 12, the Supreme Court's appeal committee announced that RiksTV's appeal of the TONO case won against RiksTV in Borgarting Court of Appeal on December 4th, going to the Supreme Court.

The Supreme Court's appeals committee allows the appeal filed on the question of whether RiksTV AS makes musical works managed by TONO SA available to the public, cf. Section 2 of the Copyright Act.

The Supreme Court's appeals committee has also unanimously ruled that there should be no negotiation on the question of whether TONO's British sister organization, PRS for Music, has consented to the distribution that has been made or the question of limitation.
