In order to be able to settle a correct remuneration for you, we must have documentation. We receive this from concert venues and organizers and from those who perform music. We would like to encourage more people not to leave this solely to the concert venues, says Membership Manager Jan Espen Storo.
Because even though many of TONO's members have already made it a habit to report concert performances of their own works on Tono's website, there are still many who do not. – Feel free to go to tono.no the day after a concert and register the set list from the evening before. Make sure to include all information. The more thorough information you provide, the easier it is for us to do a good job for you. When we receive your report, we can compare it with the report from the concert venue, and ensure that everything is in order, he says.
Please note that the deadlines for reporting your concert performances for the first half of the year are October 1, and February 1 for the second half of the year. The settlement for concert performances is planned to be included in the autumn settlement. Storo concludes with a request: - Remember that all works that are performed must be reported - even works that you have not written yourself.
