Podcast: Musical artist, club guitarist and anti-perfectionist

In his youth, Kai Gundelach practiced electric guitar for six hours a day. His first gigs were as a club guitarist for DJs in Oslo. He has brought his love of almost-harry guitar solos into his critically acclaimed melancholic electronic pop.

Gundelach is a guest on a new episode of the TONO podcast Lage Musikk. During the by:Larm 2019 festival, he met with host Torgny Amdam in TONO's Daytime Lounge. Now you can see and hear the result.

The critically acclaimed artist talks about how laziness helps shape his musical expression. He talks about his interest in analog synths, his hatred of early flights, and his love for video games and almost-Harry guitar solos.

– When does a guitar solo become harry?

"It can be as Harry as you want. If you own it and mean it, then it will find a place, I think," says Gundelach.
