When Marte Eberson writes music, she tries to be timeless. “It’s ballsy to say, but I try to make classics. Timeless songs that could have been written in the 60s, 70s, 80s, 90s or 2000s,” she says in TONO’s podcast.

Many will recognize her as the former keyboardist in the band Highasakite, but today she plays in the trio LÖV, together with Martin Halla and Øystein Skar. Just a few weeks before the start of the pandemic, they released their debut album Nostalgia, and is now relevant with the EP Letters Of IsolationMarte also writes music with her father, the accomplished jazz guitarist Jon Eberson, in the duo Eberson.
