Øystein Greni, known from Bigbang and the solo project Greni, is a guest on the new episode of the TONO podcast Lage Musikk. This year, the band released their 12th album, Glory Chord.
Songwriting on guitar is among Greni's greatest passions, and the topics of riff making and guitar building are central to the conversation.
– I was recently asked, "What are you good at?", Greni says in the podcast.
– I can sing just fine, but what I replied was that I can fucking make riffs. I'm actually one of the best in the world at making riffs in the classic rock genre. At the risk of bragging, but I mean it!
