But isn't the concept of quality relative? Aren't we at the mercy of our social experience and cultural understanding – our taste – in our perception of what has quality? Is music and quality primarily a sociological matter? Or are there objective criteria for what is quality music?
Welcome to a panel debate where four key names in Norwegian music and cultural life will each take their own song as a starting point and discuss the concept of quality based on their own artistic vision, experience and methods.
