GENERAL PRINCIPLES FOR THE USE OF UNDISTRIBUTED AMOUNTS (NON-DISTRIBUTED FUNDS)

Adopted by TONO's annual meeting on June 10, 2025.

In cases where TONO lacks complete information about the rights holders in a work or lacks documentation of the work, TONO is obliged to do everything that is practically possible, and not disproportionately costly, to find the right recipients. Amounts that cannot be individually distributed within three years of the end of the financial year in which the income was collected are classified as non-distributable. Non-distributable funds may be used for cultural policy purposes.

The use of non-distributable funds will only be applicable in 2029.
