The Music Publishers Association works to give Norwegian music publishers better conditions for running a creative industry. The organization's members create economic and artistic value and represent over 4500 authors.
The music publishers distribute grants through their support schemes on behalf of TONO, and handle the disbursement of Kopinor funds to Norwegian-registered music publishers. The music publishers work actively with raising the competence and visibility of the work of Norwegian music publishers on various platforms in Norway and the rest of the world. The organization creates meeting places, and provides guidance when it comes to questions about graphic rights and copyright.
The music publishers' biggest event is the Music Publishers Award, which is held once a year. Here, those working in music publishers and their music creators who are members of TONO receive the attention they deserve.
The association's members must have a management contract with TONO.
