TONO's annual meeting elected a new board on May 25, 2011. Ragnar Bjerkreim (NOPA) was elected as the new chairman. There are exciting tasks ahead of us, says the newly elected chairman.
/ 26/05/2011 / codex– TONO is at the center of what lies ahead in the digital area. We are in the midst of a rapid development, which is going the way of the rights holders. It will be very exciting to collaborate with the rest of the board and TONO's employees in the future, says Ragnar Bjerkreim.
– The most important thing for the board in the coming period will be to consolidate and further develop TONO based on the strategies that the board has set, including getting involved in the new media channels to an even greater extent and increasing the frequency of settlements to members, continues Bjerkreim. TONO is an important cultural policy institution and actor in Norway that is characterized by the core values of competent, accessible and committed.

The board is elected for two years at a time. The chairman and deputy chairman are elected from among the board representatives for one year at a time.
