The Norwegian Composers' Association is launching a brand new grant scheme for festivals, organizations and other actors who wish to contribute to the establishment of new arenas for contemporary music. Applications can be made for up to kr 100.000,- per year, for up to two years. The application deadline is June 1, 2011.
/ 30/05/2011 / codexWith this scheme, NKF will encourage new initiatives locally and regionally, through support for new arenas for contemporary music. The grant is given as one- or two-year project support. Renewed support cannot be expected.
Festivals, ensembles and organizations, as well as new and individual projects can apply. Establishment of new concert forms, new dissemination arenas and new models for collaboration between art forms are examples of initiatives that can receive grants from this scheme. The maximum application amount is 100.000 kroner per year, for up to two years.
The application must include a project description and budget, application amount, financing plan and motivation for the initiative. It must be stated whether the application is for a one- or two-year grant. It must also state who is responsible for planning, finances and implementation of the project.
