New feature for publishers in My TONO

TONO is launching a new feature for publishers in My TONO. Making publisher claims in existing works is now significantly easier.

The new feature is called Publishing requirements and enables publishers to make claims in one or more works already registered in TONO with the help of a few keystrokes.

Previously, publishers had to fill in complete information about works they wanted to claim, without the ability to search TONO's works register. Now they can quickly and easily find and claim works registered in TONO.

All publishers now find publishing requirementsfunction below Verk in My TONO.

Search for individual works or authors

When a publisher wants to make a claim using the new function, it has two options: Search for individual works or for an author.

By searching for a specific work, the publisher can submit a claim for shares to one or more of the authors of the work.

By searching for an author, the publisher can claim multiple works at once. This will bring up a list of all works in which the author has a stake and allow the publisher to quickly select several, or all, works.

Please note that it is not possible to claim more than one author's share when selecting multiple works at the same time. The percentage and territory must also be the same for all works in each claim submitted.

TONO's publishing contact, Stian Aarstad, is happy to help with a demonstration of the feature and answer questions. Contact us at forlag(a)tono.no.
