For the first time, TONO members can explore how their music is used and what they earn from it in an interactive visual dashboard, directly in the member portal My TONO.
/ 21/04/2026 / Kristian DugstadFor TONO, developing new features that give members better insight into their own data is a high priority. That's why we are pleased to announce that we have launched a beta version of new Search in settlementThis new interactive and visual dashboard gives members a whole new kind of insight into where and how their music is being used.

With the new feature, members can see which countries they receive money from, which works generate the most revenue, how revenue is distributed across usage types and quarters, and search for specific concerts, radio channels, or songs.
– We are committed to ensuring that members have good insight into their own data. With Search in Settlement, we are taking an important step towards making this information more accessible and easier to understand, says Jan Espen Storo, department manager for the member department at TONO.
Members who received TONO payments in March 2026 can test the feature now.
The launch is made possible by TONO's new billing system, Matching Engine, which went into operation in March 2025. The system automates the matching of music reports against registered works, and processes the enormous amounts of data TONO receives from streaming services, concert organizers, broadcasters and other music users.
Although the biggest changes are happening in the background, the system opens up new ways to present settlement data. Search in settlement is the first visible result of this work.
Search in settlement can be found in the member portal My TONO. Under the menu item Settlement, click Search in settlement (BETA). The filters at the top customize the view, and by clicking on items, members can explore data in detail.
The feature is in its early stages. Initially, the dashboard will show data from the last payout, and for now, only members who received payouts in March 2025 will be able to use it. Historical data will be available this summer, and international settlements are planned to be included next quarter. The feature will be continuously developed based on feedback from members.
Currently, only individual members have access, but the dashboard will be available to music publishers as soon as it is ready.
Members are encouraged to try the dashboard, and feedback is welcome at medlem@tono.no.
