NOPA's honorary award to Cato Strøm

There were awards presented during NOPA's autumn party on Tuesday, November 15. Former CEO of TONO, Cato Strøm, received NOPA's honorary award.

Text and music awards, the presentation award and an open class award. The awards were presented during a separate ceremony.
event at Vulkan Scenen in Oslo on Tuesday, November 15th.

Sondre Lerche, Daniela Reyes Holmsen and Stian Carstensen are awarded NOPA's own awards during the
the annual autumn festival that NOPA organizes in Oslo. NOPA's communication award goes to the music festival
The Målrock and honorary award go to outgoing TONO director Cato Strøm.

The jury's reasoning:

NOPA's honorary award is given to a person who has meant a lot to Norwegian composers and lyricists.
The award may be presented upon recommendation from NOPA members, NOPA's board of directors or others. The award has been
awarded twice before, in 2013 to Jan Erik Kongshaug and in 2017 to Karin Krogh. This year's honorary award
goes to Cato Strøm who recently retired after 33 years in the service of the authors as
CEO of TONO.
