In week 8 (February 19–25), a united Norwegian music industry is the initiator of the #hørnorsk campaign.

Throughout this week, music made in Norway will be highlighted. Established Norwegian songwriters and artists will recommend Norwegian colleagues, songs, albums or playlists in their own channels. The week ends with the Spellemannprisen in Oslo Konserthus, a grand tribute to Norwegian music.

– The goal of the campaign is to make Norwegian music, in all languages and in all genres, more visible to the public. At the same time, it should be an inspiration for composers, lyricists, musicians and the Norwegian music industry, says Ingrid Kindem, chairwoman of NOPA.

Music organizations, record labels, booking agencies, management and other companies are helping to promote Norwegian music in week 8. In addition, NRK will have its own Norwegian Day where only Norwegian music will be played on the radio.

We would like to point out that Ingrid Kindem is also the chairwoman of TONO. NOPA is also one of three organizations that, according to TONO's statutes, have board seats in TONO. In addition to the three organizations, there are also representatives for the independents on TONO's board.
