TONO gives you copyright revenue when your music is played publicly, so you can make more music.
In 2024 we paid out NOK 741,7 million to songwriters in Norway and abroad. We paid out 375 million kroner to our Norwegian members.
The TONO license gives radio and TV companies, streaming services, concert organizers, stores, etc. the opportunity to use protected music from all over the world, in one and the same agreement.

Music creates valuable moments and communities. The TONO license allows anyone who uses music to do so safely and legally, while their TONO payment allows those who write music and lyrics to have income, and invest new time, energy and money in creating new music – for the benefit of the entire community.
TONO contributes with payments and scholarships to music creators. We also have sponsorships linked to important venues such as by:Larm, Vill Vill Vest, Spellemann, Loud (band camp for girls and non-binary youth), and a number of songwriting camps.
