Music Publishers Award 2017

Now all Norwegian publishers can nominate works and authors for the Music Publishers Award 2017.

TONO has three group associations, more specifically NOPA, the Norwegian Composers' Association and the Music Publishers. The latter holds the Music Publishers' Award annually to honor Norwegian songwriters, composers and the publishers that represent them. At the same time, they want to use the award to increase knowledge about music publishing and how they can assist composers.

Starting today, all Norwegian publishers can nominate both works and authors for the Music Publishers Award 2017!

Awards will be given in the following 7 categories;

• Work of the Year – Popular Music
• Work of the Year – Classical/Contemporary Music
• Breakthrough of the Year – Popular Music
• Breakthrough of the Year – Classical/Contemporary Music
• Author of the Year – Popular Music
• Composer of the Year – Classical/Contemporary Music
• Honorary award
